Tom Raushcke & Kaaren Wiken:
This collaborative team has created warm and witty interpretations of the natural world for over 25 years. Their turned wood sculptures invite the viewer to touch and explore a scene from nature as if taking an exploratory walk through the forest with them. Rauschke's finely detailed forms often include miniature embroideries by Kaaren created in colorful cotton floss. Kaaren Wiken creates wonderful metal sculptures too. The Katie Gingrass Gallery takes their work to SOFA each year.
