Patricia Keller:
Patricia Keller earned both her Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education and Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has been an educator and professional painter for over thirty years.

A versatile artist, Keller utilizes a wide range of materials in her paintings including watercolor, gouache, pastels, oils, and acrylics. Most of her artwork is derived from her life-long love of wilderness landscape, and she has recently been focusing upon interpreting the beauty to be found in the realm of medicinal plants. The foundation of her method is in the use of vibrant color and energetic brushwork while emphasizing color relationships and the introduction of improbable color into her subjects. Her art has been exhibited in many one-person and group shows around the country in such places as New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Colorado, California, and many places in Wisconsin.

Keller's work is included in many private, public, and corporate collections. She was the 1995 “Showcase” artist for WHA-TV Art and Antiques Auction, and she recently participated in Cow Parade Wisconsin.

Patricia is a professional member of Wisconsin Visual Artists, and she serves as curator for the University of Wisconsin, Madison's Steinhauer Trust Gallery. She maintains her studio near Madison, Wisconsin.
