Jacqui Blatchford:
Jacqui Blatchford, a resident of Lake Forest, has painted and exhibited commercially since graduation from the Ruskin School of Art at Oxford University, and from the Slade School of Art at London University.

She is known best for her landscapes, particularly for the Autumn and Winter scenes painted on location, whereby she is able to put onto canvas the full realism of nature with the range of color, precise design, and subtle shades of light which cannot be captured on photographic film. Her style is distinctive through her application of color, creating surfaces of rich texture, bright and sparkling. Each painting conveys to the viewer a feeling of nostalgia for places and scenes familiar and remembered. Blatchford's work appears in many important corporate and private collections.
